Founders Course Hole #14
165 Yard Par 3
Greystone's signature hole! This beautiful par three plays slightly downhill which shortens the playing yardage by about one club. You'll see most players use the left to right slope in the green to feed their shots to the hole.
This is a great strategy hole and if you miss the green to the left you're looking at a real challenge to save par. The back bunker comes into play when the back right pin placement is used.
There is usually some swirling wind on this hole, but you can't always feel or see it down at the level of the tee and green. You'll see the players looking at the tops of the trees surrounding this hole. They want to know what's going on up there where the ball is going to fly. This "trick wind" is a little like the twelfth at Augusta, which is famous for its swirling winds and difficulty in club selection.
Toughest pins are in the very front left portion of the green which brings the false front into play thus making long putts back toward the front very treacherous.
